Most Harvard locations are within a few minutes walk from the center of Harvard Square. Our map indicates the most common destinations, including the Admissions and Financial Aid Office. You can also print a map from this location.
Directions to the Science Center can be found here.
The Admissions Visitor Center is located in Radcliffe Yard at 5 James Street, Cambridge, MA 02138.
Due to traffic patterns in and around Harvard Square please allow an extra 20-30 minutes of travel time.

At the third set of lights, turn left onto Brattle Street (Cardullo's is straight ahead), then bear right at the crosswalk, which is a continuation of Brattle Street. Parking is difficult, so please allow an extra 30-40 minutes to find commercial lots and garages in the area, then walk to the visitor center at 5 James Street. Should you decide to take your chances and park at the meters (which we don't encourage), please bring a roll of quarters with you, as we don't have petty cash in the office and the meters won't take smaller coins or credit cards. Also, if you do choose to park at a meter, please pay careful attention to the signs associated with the meter you select as cars are towed by the City of Cambridge on designated street cleanings days.
On-street parking is scarce in Cambridge, but there are several public parking lots and garages. There is also parking available at the Harvard garages on Oxford Street and Broadway on weekdays. You may purchase a pass online. You will need a printer to complete this transaction and when prompted, select: Department: Admin. & Financial Aid/Byerly Department Code: 3003. Click here for additional parking information.
As a convenience for our visitors we list below several commercial garages which may offer spaces. None is endorsed by Harvard or by the Admissions Office.
