Students at Robotics Competition Student Performance with Ribbons

There is fairly universal agreement that much of the value of a Harvard education lies in things learned outside the classroom and in the relationships established with others in the community, especially with fellow students.

Extracurricular and co-curricular opportunities at Harvard are virtually unlimited. There are more than 400 official student organizations at the College, and the number and nature of organizations change constantly as students' interests evolve. Harvard College provides an unprecedented amount of support and space to student organizations through the Student Organization Center at Hilles (SOCH). Casual beginners to accomplished practitioners find opportunities at all levels. Although you do not have to study music in order to play in an orchestra, nor must you have had experience in drama or journalism to act in a play or to write for a student publication, opportunities for growth and learning in these and other areas are available.

Students Speak: Listen to students talk about their experiences with Harvard clubs and organizations.
