International Interviews

We encourage international applicants to have an admissions interview when and where it is possible. Our interviewers abroad are normally graduates of the College who volunteer their assistance. If an interviewer is not available sufficiently close to you to make an interview a possibility, the absence of an interview will not adversely affect your candidacy.

• If you are applying from the UK or Canada, you will be contacted directly by an interviewer.
  


• If you are applying from one of the countries listed in the first list below, you should initiate contact with one of our interviewers. Please contact intladm@fas.harvard.edu for more information. Please include your full name, the name of the country from which you are applying and the phrase International Interview in the subject line.

• If the country you are applying from is listed in the following group, you are in an area where we have a limited number of interviewers compared to the number of requests/applications we receive. So, applicants in those countries will only be contacted after their application materials have been received and processed by the Admissions Office. And then, so we don't unduly burden our volunteers, interviews are only arranged if the Admissions Committee requires more information about the applicant. The lack of an interview will not adversely affect your application.

• If the country from which you are applying does not appear on either of the two lists, then we do not have local interviewers available: however, the lack of an interview will not affect your candidacy.
