Spring

Begin taking the required tests:

• SAT Reasoning Test or ACT with Writing Component
• Two SAT Subject Tests

As soon as possible

Please Send:

• The Common Application or the Universal College Application.
• The $75 application fee or a fee waiver request.

Without your Common Application/Universal Application, we cannot open your admission file, track supporting documents for your application, or send your name to our alumni/ae for a possible interview in your area.

The Harvard Application Supplement may be sent at a later date.

October

October 15:

We recommend that you send your application by this date if possible so that we may create and begin processing your file. Our alumni/ae interviewers would appreciate your sending the Common Application/Universal Application by this date to allow them to begin the interviewing process where possible.

October 2011:

Early Action applicants should submit their standardized tests by the end of October, but are still eligible to apply using the November series.

Early November

Last acceptable testing date for Early Action consideration.

Regular Action applicants are encouraged to submit standardized test scores from or before the November series.

November 1

Deadline for all Early Action application materials. Students applying for Early Action should submit scores from the October series, though scores from the November series should reach us in time for consideration.

Submit the initial components of your financial aid application, following the instructions found on the Prospective Students section of our website. Even if you may not have access to your final 2011 tax information by this time we ask that you use the best available estimated figures.

December 15

Early Action decisions will be released

We recommend that you send your application by this date if possible.

We recognize that you and your secondary school teachers and counselors may have commitments that preclude submission of your application materials by December 15. If so, please be assured that you will not be penalized in any way.

January 1

Final Deadline for all Regular Action application materials. You must send ALL application materials by this deadline for Regular Action consideration.

Late January

Last acceptable SAT testing date for Regular Action consideration.

February 1

Notify the Admissions Office if you have not received an email acknowledging your application.

Mid February

Last ACT testing date for Regular Action consideration.

Mid-Year School Report forms should be submitted with most recent grades.

March 1

Final deadline for all financial aid application materials, including 2011 tax and income documentation. For more information, please see the Financial Aid website.

Late March / Early April

Decision letters mailed.

May 1 (all applicants)

Reply date for admitted students. No deposit required.
